Valle Onsernone

Loco – Intragna: Via delle Vose

Historic point-to-point hike along the old mule and market trail through Niva, Vosa and Pila to Intragna.

The Via delle Vose links the Onsernone Valley with the Centovalli. From Loco, the old and partly stone-paved mule trail passes through chestnut and beech woodland to Niva and descends into the Isorno gorge. After crossing the river, the route climbs through Vosa di Dentro and Vosa to Pila, where views open towards the Centovalli and Lake Maggiore, before descending to Intragna. The linear route follows a white-red-white mountain hiking trail (T2). Check trail conditions, closures and diversions with the official sources before setting out.
